I was lucky to receive an advance copy of this workbook. The author has created a refreshingly accessible and concise version of DBT Skills training that can be used effectively by almost anyone. The layout is thoughtful, and the judicial use of color further accentuates this approach. It is this which makes this version appealing and accessible, as it breaks text up into easily digestible chunks. This contrasts with the original skills training manual that is more like a college textbook. The author has accomplished this without compromising on the content. As a DBT therapist myself, I will be recommending this to many of my clients who do not need Comprehensive Dialectical Behavior Therapy and who can definitely benefit from the skills training offered in this compact yet thorough presentation of skills that everyone needs!
